Ms Parry Jones is the head teacher of
Surlingham
Primary school
and in January this year she also became head of
Rockland St
Mary
School
. Ms Parry Jones has been head of
Surlingham
School
for six years. Surlingham is a little bit bigger than
Rockland
School
and she is hoping to let Rockland St Mary children to share some of the things at Surlingham, such as the larger schools field and schools clubs. She is excited about being head of both schools as there are lots of friendly people to work with.
I asked Ms Parry Jones what was the scariest thing she had ever done. Amazingly she has climbed up the tiny stairs to the very top of the big dome at
St Paul
’s Cathedral in
London
. She said it was very frightening to look down at the tiny people from such a height.
Ms Parry Jones has also travelled to the Rocky Mountains in
North America
. She saw a grizzly bear and that was scary, but also loved feeding tiny camp robbers birds that feed from your hands and head.
Ms Parry Jones loves cooking especially vegetable lasagne. Her favourite subject is English.
I asked her about her hopes for the school and she would love to some how expand the school field one day.
